School facilities personnel may register for free. All exhibit booths have been sold out but non-school facilities personnel may still register for $350. Spouses of both school and non-school attendees may be registered for $100. We have a waiting list set up for exhibitors in the event a booth opens up. GENERAL INFORMATION:
In light of the continuing economic climate and facilities personnel travel restrictions, we are again offering FREE registration to all school facilities personnel (maximum of two per system). In addition, for those who will be traveling and staying at the hotel, we will credit school facilities representatives for up to two nights (including tax and fees). This exceptional offer for hotel credit is offered to only the first 120 registrants (maximum of two from each system). These comps are made possible by the unprecedented sponsor support received again this year by our vendors and industry partners.
We will not supplement accommodations costs at any other local hotels. You will be required to leave a credit card number with the hotel upon making your reservations and you reservation is subject to the Lodge’s cancellation policy. You will be responsible for any charges to your room above the basic accommodations and tax charges. Spouses can be registered at a cost of $100 – which allows them access to all meals and social events as well as sessions if they choose to participate.
FACILITIES 201 Preconference – June 24th, 2012 | 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM
The “Facilities 201” program is conducted by a panel of presenters from the Department of Education, School Districts, Architects and Builders. It will be a fast-paced, exciting, interactive program with lots of opportunities for Q&A. Attendees will leave with good summary documentation of the presentations and a resource list. Topics will include Facilities Planning and Construction soup-to-nuts from needs assessment, local facility planning process, hiring and working with your architect, construction delivery, construction, DOE processes, procedures and resources and much more!
Registration cost is $50 for materials and open to school system representatives and all participants of Georgia CEFPI, Inc.
Georgia CEFPI, Inc. cannot compensate school personnel for the additional night of lodging associated with attending the pre-conference, however Callaway Gardens will honor the discounted conference rate for reservations. School personnel will still receive free lodging for Monday & Tuesday night if registered for the conference.
